During your first trimester, your body will slowly begin to expand in order to make room for your little one. But it will happen so gradually that you may not need to immediately purchase maternity clothes for the office. In fact, there are plenty of stopgap measures you can incorporate before you finally make the transition to pregnancy wear. For example, unfasten one of the top buttons on your pants and untuck your blouse to cover the space. You can also wrap a rubber band around the loose button to provide a little extra breathing room.

Eventually, you’ll need to shift your workplace wardrobe to maternity wear. In this article, we’ll provide a few helpful tips for making the transition as seamlessly as possible.

Making The Transition To Maternity Clothes

Right before pregnancy clothes become essential for maintaining your comfort, you’ll enter a transition period. It’s during this time that your body will appear as if you have gained a few pounds, but few people would guess you’re pregnant. Skirts with elastic waistbands will still fit comfortably and conveniently, though you may need to move up a size. You’ll be able to get away with wearing long shirts, cardigans, and low-rise pants for a short time as your tummy grows.

Before long, your body will have passed the point beyond which normal office clothes will suffice. You’ll need to officially transition into maternity wear. By this time, you should have a good idea regarding the type of outfits you’d like to own for your wardrobe.

Building Your Wardrobe

The type of clothing you purchase should reflect the normal attire worn at the office. Some workplaces maintain a protocol of strict business wear while others are far more causal (though still professional). Assuming your office leans toward business attire, consider buying seven or eight pieces in complimentary colors that you can mix and match. Buy one or two pairs of pants, a jacket, a skirt, a few tops, and a dress. By mixing and matching, you should be able to create nearly a dozen outfits, and even more if you mix in a few cardigans.

Also, consider asking friends and family who have had children whether you can borrow some of their old workplace pregnancy clothes. Even if you only manage to work a few extra items into your growing wardrobe, you’ll be able to build a large number of new looks.

Dressing For Evening Events

Many companies organize evening events at which their employees are expected to make an appearance. This may have been a simple matter of scheduling before you became pregnant. Now, with a growing stomach, attending requires a little fashion finesse.

First, black is always a good choice for evening wear because it has a slimming effect and it’s appropriate regardless of the season. Second, black is an ideal color for adding hints of jewelry and other accessories. Small earrings, a thin necklace, or even a colorful scarf can add a subtle splash of style and sophistication. This is an opportunity to indulge yourself in a high-quality suit or dress that fits comfortably and looks great.

Shopping On A Limited Budget

Many maternity wear designers have priced their clothes at an affordable level for working women. Even so, creating an entire wardrobe can put a strain on any budget. As mentioned earlier, begin listing the office maternity clothes you want to buy before your body forces you to make the change-over. Start with seven or eight items that you can mix and match for a variety of different looks. Then, splurge and buy an attractive, elegant evening outfit that you can use for company events and going on dates with your partner.

Consider these clothes an investment in your comfort and confidence. They’ll help you maintain your professional appearance leading up to your maternity leave.

First of all, I’d like to welcome you and give you a warm hug. If you can’t get pregnant, you certainly need empathy and understanding and I am here to provide you with a safe place. My aim with this article is to give you the chance to discover where to go for help when you can’t get pregnant.

If you can’t get pregnant, examine this free article.

Couples suffering infertility often say they feel isolated and that no-one understands their situation.  It is hard to express to most people what a despairing feeling you can have when you can’t get pregnant.  It is easy to be overcome with the sea of emotions. No one fully appreciates the hurt unless they have experienced it themselves.

I have experienced this first hand and know how you might be feeling. Actually, I’m still in that position. I just want to know that someone understands what you’re going through.

After years of trying I still can’t get pregnant. Generally, I don’t discuss it. Any mention of it always brings on the inevitable barrage of advice from well intentioned people who just have no idea what it feels like when you cant get pregnant.
We know about IVF and other fertility treatments. But these are so expensive. And so is adoption.
So what do we do in the intervening time? Well, we’ve decided to go for testing. I’ll get checked, my husband will get checked. What if it’s me that has the problem? What if I am the reason we can’t get pregnant? Will my husband be upset with me? I know he wants a family like I do. And if my husband’s fertility is the problem? Will I be upset with him? Will he manage? Will his masculinity be challenged? These questions and more occupy my mind.

Just a reminder Check out this fantastic article if you can’t get pregnant.

Notwithstanding our difficulties we remain hopeful. We will exhaust all the options in our quest to start a family. Given there is no reason why we can’t get pregnant, perhaps some simple natural remedies will help. Other inexpensive options include:

•    Fertility Foods: There some fertility foods such as yams, fish and oysters  which will help you conceive.  I’ve always been into nutrition so I understand that if my body is missing something this could be the reason I can’t get pregnant .

•    Quit Coffee-Ovulation is adversely affected by coffee. It is time to quit the habit.

•    Change Clothing: It is known that snug underwear can decrease a man’s sperm count.

•    Acupuncture: This is definitely the more expensive thing on the list that we are going to try, but it is less expensive than fertility treatments. {At the very least, maybe I can begin to be more relaxed}. Since I can’t get pregnant, the anxiety is starting to take a toll.

After my cousin told me she was pregnant due to a book called Pregnancy Miracle, I had a look at this Pregnancy Miracle review page to read more. It has a lot of info regarding the book and is worth reading this prior to buying the book.

I want you to understand that you’re not isolated. I’ve tried to maintain my sense of humour while expressing the pain that is caused when you can’t get pregnant. Most of all, I hope this article has provided hope .

Your body is growing, your balance is shifting, and energy is becoming a precious commodity in short supply by the end of each day. Welcome to the world of mom-to-be. A general and persistent lack of comfort plagues millions of moms-to-be, which makes it difficult for them to fully enjoy the rewarding experience of being pregnant. Fortunately, there are several steps you can take to reduce your discomfort.

Below, we’ll offer a few suggestions that will make your second and third trimesters more comfortable. You’ll learn how the right shoes, clothes, undergarments, and diet can play major roles in helping you enjoy this special time in your life.

Invest In The Right Shoes

As your feet go, so goes your mood. During your pregnancy, your feet may swell. Many women even experience an increase in their shoe size. This is due to water retention and the release of relaxin, a hormone that relaxes your ligaments. Meanwhile, as your feet begin to outgrow your shoes, extra weight is being placed upon them. This can quickly cause discomfort for your entire body.

Invest is flats and low-heeled shoes to relieve pressure on your back. Not only will the provide more comfort, but as your equilibrim changes, you’l be less likely to overbalance and take a dangerous tumble.

Clothes That Fit Your Body

You can probably continue wearing your pre-pregnancy clothes throughout the beginning your first trimester. However, by the tenth or eleventh week, you’ll notice that they fit a little too tightly around your body. That’s a sign you’re ready for maternity clothes.

Many moms-to-be avoid transitioning to maternity wear for a number of reasons, including cost and vanity. While some designers arguably charge a high price, a lot of maternity clothes are reasonably priced to fit most budgets. What’s more, the unfashionable tops and bottoms of yesteryear have been replaced by stylish clothes that combine playfulness with a dash of sophistication.

When you feel your clothes becoming tight, treat your body to maternity wear that offers a more comfortable fit.

Maternity Bras And Undergarments

Your breasts will grow during your pregnancy, a situation that offers benefits and drawbacks. While you’ll relish your new curves, you might also experience back pain if your bras offer insufficient support. Invest in maternity bras that provide the support your body needs in order for you to feel comfortable.

While you’re shopping, consider buying panties that are designed to accommodate your lower half. A far cry from the granny-panties of old, today’s designers have developed lingirie that will compliment your figure and improve your mood.

A Diet To Help Curb The Morning Blues

Morning sickness is practically inescapable. Most women suffer some level of nausea during their pregnancy. For some, the chronic queasiness appears during the first trimester and turns into an unwelcome guest for the duration.

First, if the nausea is particularly severe, ask your obstetrician to suggest a few foods that can lessen the effects. For example, crackers can help reduce the severity of motion sickness because the taste is relatively bland. Also, try citrusy fruits, such as oranges or grated lemons. Some moms-to-be find lightly-salted potato chips provide relief.

Treating Your Skin With Care

Use lotion and sunscreen liberally to protect your skin from the elements. Doing so will prevent dryness and itchiness, which can quickly become frustrating while you’re pregnant. Also, if you have the time, consider making an appointment at a day spa. A pedicure, facial, and massage can do wonders for your comfort and your mood.

Pregnancy is a special time during which you’ll marvel at the life growing inside you. It’s also a period of great challenges as your body grows to accomodate your baby. Use the suggestions above to stay as comfortable as possible while waiting for your little one to finally arrive.
